Matt Baker is a Dedicated Partner of PGIM Energy Partners, the middle-market energy fund management business sponsored by PGIM Private Capital. Prior to this role, he led a team responsible for marketing, originating, and managing oil and gas related investments in Canada, Oklahoma, Western Texas, and Ft. Worth. He joined PGIM in 2004. Mr. Baker received a BBA from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
The Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act (“ESTMA” or the “Act”) was enacted by the Government of Canada on December 16, 2014, and made effective for financial years beginning after June 1, 2015. The Act delivers on Canada’s international commitments to contribute to global efforts to increase transparency and deter corruption in the extractive sector by requiring extractive entities active in Canada to publicly disclose, on an annual basis, specific payments made to all governments in Canada and abroad.
Payments in the ESTMA report reflect gross payments made by Acquisition Oil and are reported in accordance to the act. Due to definitions and reporting specifications in the Act payments reported in the ESTMA report may differ from other amounts reported elsewhere by Acquisition Oil.
