Acquisition Oil Corp. is an Alberta focused growth-orientated light oil development and production company based in Calgary, Alberta. CEO Colin Witwer and the experienced management team of Acquisition Oil Corp. are joined with a committed board of directors sharing a long term vision of organic growth.

The Company

The Company and its Tier 1 financial partner are developing a low decline light oil asset base to provide predictable and sustainable cash flow through full cycle development.

This strategy is focused on the development of large light oil in place carbonate reservoirs in north west Alberta where the Company maintains a significant operated mineral rights and infrastructure foot print. By operating over 95% of its production and mineral rights the Company can use its extensive experience in developing carbonate reservoirs to maintain a strategic advantage building an extensive developmental and exploration light oil drilling inventory while concurrently improving its producing recovery factors through the appropriate implementation of secondary recovery on its operated production base.

MARK MALLAMO

MARK MALLAMO, P.GEOL., PHD – V.P. OF EXPLORATION (23 YRS EXP.)

Mark Mallamo has more than 23 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has previously served as vice president, exploration at Virginia Hills Oil Corp. prior thereto, Mr. Mallamo has held various management and senior geology roles focusing on the exploration and development of carbonate reservoirs with several companies including Arcan Resources Ltd., Pengrowth Energy, Samson Canada, Burlington Resources and Chevron Canada. He holds a ph.d. degree specializing in carbonates from McGill university.

COLIN WITWER

COLIN WITWER, P.ENG., B.SC. – PRESIDENT (18 YRS EXP.)

Colin B. Witwer has more than 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has served as Virginia Hills Oil Corp’s president and chief executive officer. prior thereto, Mr. Witwer served as president and chief executive officer of Second Wave Petroleum and vice president, operations for Bear Ridge Resources Ltd. Mr. Witwer has held various operational focused engineering roles at Bear Creek Energy Ltd., Talisman Energy and Schlumberger Oilfield Services. He holds a chemical engineering degree from the university of Alberta.

TRAVIS BODNAR

TRAVIS BODNAR, P.ENG., B.SC. – V.P. OF ENGINEERING (15 YRS EXP.)

Travis Bodnar has 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry consisting of various operational, engineering and management roles at companies including Virginia Hills Oil Corp, ember resources, Second Wave Petroleum, Nexen and Talisman Energy. He is a professional engineer and holds a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from the university of Alberta.

IAN TOWERS

IAN TOWERS, P.ENG., MBA – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (32 YRS EXP.)

Ian Towers has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has most recently served as president of a private north american energy company. prior thereto, Mr. Towers served as president & ceo of Dolomite Energy Inc., president & ceo at Rio Alto Resources International Inc. and held various management and senior technical and business roles at Rio Alto Exploration Ltd. and Shell Canada Ltd. he holds a chemical engineering degree from Queen’s university and an mba from Schulich school of business.
